Fort Myers Beach 4th of July Celebration
July 4, 2015

Fort Myers Beach is the place to be for the 4th of July!  After you’ve enjoyed breakfast in one of the quaint beach breakfast spots, and spent a little time soaking up the sun, you can head over to Estero Blvd and get settled in a spot to watch the parade go by. Whlie it’s no big-city parade, it is a festive, unique experience.  Vintage cars,  floats,  decorated boats, and marching bands make their way down the parade route, throwing beads and candy to spectators.

The real treat, however, is the spectacular fireworks show in the evening after the sun sets. Find a spot somewhere on the beach, and watch as a huge array of impressive fireworks are set off from the famous sunset pier. If you pick a good spot, you can see the fireworks not only on Fort Myers Beach, but also on Sanibel across the water, and perhaps even Bonita Springs and Naples. Where else can you get a 180 degree view of fireworks!

Ready for your beach vacation?  Call us at 1-877-BEACH-IT (232-2448) or visit to browse available vacation rental properties and rates, as well as view photos, descriptions, and virtual tours!

And…anytime of year, Fort Myers Beach is the perfect place for a quiet getaway, or a fun time for the whole family…with plenty of things to do on land and water!
